It's a paid opportunity for medical, nursing, and paramedical students to support elders during their healthcare visits. You'll act as a compassionate companion, helping them navigate appointments, understand prescriptions, and manage follow-up steps — while gaining hands-on experience.
What will I actually be doing?
- Meet the elder before their appointment
- Accompany them to the hospital or clinic
- Help communicate their concerns to the doctor
- Explain the doctor's advice in simple terms
- Set reminders for medication and next visits
- Submit a short visit summary on our app
You won't be performing any clinical procedures.
How much will I earn?
You'll earn ₹300–₹600 per visit. Most students make ₹3,000–₹6,000 per month by doing 2–3 visits per week. There are also bonuses and rewards for consistent performance.
Is this flexible with my academic schedule?
Yes, completely! You can accept or decline assignments based on your availability. During exams or busy weeks, you can simply pause participation via the app.
Do I need prior experience or certification?
No prior experience is required. You'll receive a short training and get access to a support team throughout your time with us.
Will I be going alone? Is it safe?
Yes, assignments are typically solo, but every elder and family is background-verified. You'll have a vKutumb Mitra ID, emergency contact support, and in-app tracking for added safety.
Where will the assignments be located?
Mostly near hospitals, clinics, or transport hubs in your city. You can view tasks on the app and choose based on what's nearby.
Do I get a certificate or recommendation?
Yes! You'll receive a Certificate of Fellowship, LinkedIn endorsement, and may be shortlisted for internships or advanced roles at vKutumb based on your performance.
Can I refer my friends or batchmates?
Absolutely. You'll receive a referral bonus when they complete their first visit. You'll find your referral link inside the app.
What happens if I forget to submit a report or make a mistake?
Don't worry — this is a learning journey. Our app guides you through each step. If you miss something, our support team will help you complete it. We believe in growth, not perfection.
